Thomas Shreve - is a western Pennsylvanian artist who has been painting for nearly 20 years. he was born and raised in Oil City. During high school he also studied martial arts and later taught it at a local gym and YMCA.
His life long passion for art led to his decision to pursue it as a career. Attending college at Clarion University, Tom earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree focusing on courses that increased his knowledge of art and computers.
After graduating from Clarion he has worked on his art career; and in the fall of 2004 he was awarded a Pennsylvania Partnership in the Arts grant for his painting series City in Abstraction.

"My mission as an artist is to create imagery that focuses on evoking emotion. while creating my art, I use my emotional connection with the subject matter and the artmaking process to achieve the desired affect."
